SOMIC handles secondary packaging – i.e., the carton outer packaging of your already packaged products. That means: your folding cartons, blister packs, bottles, tubes or jars are fed into our machine and are automatically collated, grouped and packed into shelf-ready cartons, trays, wraparound cartons, RSC cartons or tray/cover packaging. Primary packaging (e.g. filling, blistering or serialization) takes place in your upstream processes.

Whether glass bottles, jars or fragile blister packs – the products are gently collected, grouped and remain protected by the folding head during cartoning. Grouping can be upright or horizontal, in single or multiple rows and in single or multiple layers.

The compact footprint enables space-saving integration into existing end-of-line areas. Connection to upstream machines (e.g., cartoners, blister lines, filling lines) is considered during project planning. Every machine is manufactured and fully tested at our headquarters in Amerang, Germany, using your original products (FAT — Factory Acceptance Test).
