SOMIC Packaging Asia Pacific, based in Bangkok's Rama 9 business district, is your dedicated regional partner for end-of-line carton packaging solutions across Asia Pacific. As a subsidiary of the SOMIC Group — headquartered in Amerang, Germany — we bring over 50 years of German packaging engineering expertise directly to the region. Bangkok's strategic position as a gateway to Southeast Asia makes it the ideal hub for serving customers across Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea and beyond.
What We Do
Since our founding in 2023, SOMIC Packaging Asia Pacific has been your single point of contact for all end-of-line packaging needs in the region. Our Bangkok-based team of sales, engineering and after-sales experts supports you across the entire project lifecycle:
- Consultation & project planning — We analyze your products, processes and packaging requirements and develop a tailored machine concept together with our engineering team in Germany.
- Machine delivery & installation support — Every SOMIC machine is manufactured and fully tested (FAT) at our headquarters in Amerang, Germany, then shipped directly to your facility. Our APAC team supports on-site installation and fine-adjustments.
- Service & maintenance — Regional technical support via phone, remote access and on-site visits.
- Digital services — SOMIC Eagle camera diagnostics and SOMIC Connect for automated fault reporting and faster problem resolution.
German Engineering, Delivered Directly
Every SOMIC packaging machine — whether the modular SOMIC 434, the versatile SOMIC 323 or the compact SOMIC 202 — is developed and manufactured at our headquarters in Amerang, Germany. In-house CNC production of precision components at our Haag facility ensures consistently high quality.
Before delivery, each machine undergoes a comprehensive Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) using your original products. After successful testing, the machine is shipped directly to your production facility. Our Bangkok team supports you in the entire process.
